Eureka!

In 1995, my goal was to paint using the computer and to paint in the style I was used to.  Now almost 20 years later, finally arrived where I wanted to be....Hooray!  Here is the first in what I hope will be a series of many paintings done on the computer.

DIGITAL PAINTING 1

Currently I am working on printing adjustments...this will most likely be taken to printer in town to get exact color matches.

Summer Delight

I find hats delightful and whimsical.  Wearing one brings out the child in me. Perhaps they remind me of dressing up in my mother's high heels and pearls. So...when I saw my hat sitting propped up on our coffee table, I couldn't resist.  I grabbed the iPad and took the shot.  I am continually amazed at the quality achieved using these new devices.

Sunflower

The organic farmers next door gave me permission to take pictures of their sunflower field across the road.  Last night we drove there and I experimented shooting with my iPad.  Came home and called several apps into action.  I am having so much fun with these processes.  The older I get, the more I am enjoying traveling light.

Self Portrait

Had a blast yesterday doing a self portrait.  I broke a lot of the "rules"of photograpy and loved every minute of it.  Here is the result:

Bringing You Up-To-Date

I am having a delightful time working with iPhone images.  So many ideas...I can't keep up.  This is how I love to create.  Having too many ideas is much better than having none.

I Changed My Mind

Last night I changed my mind.  I was (past tense) a Purist.  Now, after playing with my iPhone and iPad, not so much.  A vast world of experience is opening for the visual artist.  These mobile devices give photography new dimensions and an adventurous venue for experimentation and introspection.  Reading "The Art of iPhone Photography" woke me up to a myriad of possibilities.  I couldn't sleep. Ideas, "like sugar plums," dance in my head.  I can hardly wait to continue the journey in fresh ways on a new path.
