Am going to have to research the name of my cartoon and its heroine. Wouldn't want to unknowingly be copying in any way. Got the idea for the cartoon below this morning and created it this afternoon. As far as I know it is completely original. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know. Thanks.
Cartoon needs an additional frame of Gertrude drawing picture of sunrise or sunset. Then, she takes a picture of her drawing for her class.
Also, may change the title to be the Adventures of Granny (Gertrude).
Oh, I can't emphasize this enough...Bragging is unattractive, crass, unrefined, crude, lacking in sensitivity and, generally obnoxious and unappealing. Some folks ain't got no class... :-) ...and are ignorant when it comes to etiquette. The result of this ignorance...FYI: No one will want to be around you.
Let your work and accomplishments speak for themselves. Include awards and accomplishments in your vitae (biographical info) and move on. Share your art and let the observers be the praise givers.
Bottom Line: If you want to promote your work, get an agent.
Morning is my best time for idea retrieval. Have several things I would like to complete this week...window and paper images being at the top of the list. Began writing (again) in private journal yesterday afternoon. Will trash entries. Nothing worth keeping. However, the side effects of writing are worth keeping. Writing anything (even if it is garbage) opens creative doors so concepts and ideas can come flying in for consideration.
"Imagination is a muscle." -- Dean Koontz on Sunday Morning (today 4-10-2011) Today will be an imagination day. The results will be posted as they occur. Took photographs of paper this week and this morning. Out of very little will hopefully come something wonderful. It has happened before and it will happen again. Oh, how wonderful it is to play.
I can't emphasize enough how important it is to care about what you are shooting--to put your feelings into the image. My daughter's birthday is coming up and this image expresses my feelings. Oh, how I wish we could sit at the table and have coffee.
