On the Way to Town Yesterday

Moving car ... color ... a moment of joy! Although not technically perfect, I love this splash of color and movement...an "impressionistic" snapshot while on the go.

Flea Market Find

Last Saturday, the same day I found "the hat," I stumbled across this Raku pottery piece. Years ago I had wanted to own some Raku, but at that time, they were very expensive sitting in art shows, or on gallery shelves. Now thirty years later, Raku emerges again.

Took this image to show the effect of shadows on an object and as an example of how some objects evoke nostalgia.

Comparisons

I love to play with images and compare results. The top image was taken with my iPhone and worked on a bit in Photoshop. The bottom image was taken with a Nikon D-300 with only slight adjustments in Photoshop. Took these images to show the effect of shadows on an object and as an example of how some objects evoke nostalgia.

Personal preference, point of view and mood make choosing the "best" difficult.
