The photographs below were taken through the car window on our way to Pennsylvania and on the way back during the first and third weeks of January, 2011.

Home

We are home...finally. I am still in a sabbatical mode. This time out is good for renewal and reflection. New ideas are coming in and waiting to be implemented in the near future. No one can work artistically all the time. Every now and then a break with routine is necessary.

Soon I will be back online posting. Until then, you all have fun and keep shooting. I look forward to seeing what you have been doing.

Right before Christmas we saw some magnificent clouds and sunsets. Amazing how no two scenes are ever the same even when one stands in the same place day after day, or evening after evening. Thanks to SkyWatch for getting me to look up.

Titling

May rename yesterday's image. Confusion, Disorder, Topsy Turvy? Titles are important and involve thought.

Fireside Comforts

Am experimenting with light and setups today...the illumination is good; setup needs something...

Amazing what Photoshop can do in an instant...by tipping one of the spice boxes, tension is created (see final image below). With some minor refining, this image is good to go.
