I almost missed this because I fell asleep. I woke up just in time to grab my camera and run.

Water-colored Clouds
I get excited when I see clouds with contrasts and layers. They appear like abstract paintings--watercolors in the sky.

Day 74 -- Sunset Tonight
For me, it doesn't get much better than this. These images look like paintings on my monitor. Hope you are experiencing these as "skyscape photo-paintings" too. No painting software was used...this is how it was in real life. I love it when things come together naturally.

Sunsets with dark clouds are challenging. When light is not striking the clouds in the foreground, often a heavy mood results. I like to wait for light to hit the foreground clouds. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't.

Hooray for Daylight Savings Time. Due to the time change, I am up, bright eyed, at sunrise. Perhaps winter will mean sunset images while summer will bring on sunrises
