A Surprise
I love it when I am experimenting and am pleasantly surprised. Used my Sigma 150-500 lens and had a wonderful time in the garden this morning.

Light Is Everything
One pink tulip appeared in our circle garden. As the sun descended, I began shooting.
Suggestion: Pay attention to how light illuminates your subject. Walk around. Circle the subject. Bend down. Bend over. Bend to the side. Change the angle of your camera from horizontal to vertical. Here's an additional trick...if something doesn't look quite right in your viewfinder, walk three steps to the left, or to the right, backward or forward.
