Black and White

Inadvertently removed a comment from Shawn since he posted his comment while I was posting the image and getting things right. Here is what he said:

I think by taking away the color we are left with the luminosity collected by our eyes and it makes us explore the image more. It makes us look at the shaddows and the role that light plays in our life. Simply without light there would be no perceived color in the world. Maybe our minds are conditioned from looking at old black and white images or televission sets. Not that we are all that old. I like balck and white for its unpoluted qualities.

Eerie photograph! It left me speechless when I first saw it. You certainly are an expert at black and white images. I aplaud your work. It always inspires me.

Outstanding treatment of Black and White...almost looks like the "Black Hole" with the spent energy of dying planets sucked in at the center.

Good Job !!
