This is my first time entering Sepia Scenes. My first love is monochrome and in particular deep sepia-toned images. I feel strongly that most images do not translate well in sepia. Antiques and old things work best (in my opinion). So, we will see how many "scenes" I can shoot that "work."

I agree with you on sepia pictures. It's going to be a real challenge to come up with one every week. I do also think portraits can look very nice in sepia. Great picture.

I agree with you and casasosegado on the sepia-thing. Old things - and some mood-pictures or what-to-call-it. I only enter for this meme now and then. I like it when it works though. And this one definitely does. Great job.
Hi Elisabeth. This photo works very well in sepia. Love the clouds. I agree with you. You need to be very selective when toning with sepia.I tend to be conservative with my toning and try to keep a light hand. I think I like the coffee tones best.

The sky has many dark formations, the clouds a bit angry in gray. But not in sepia! The anger is muted, the dark softer. Textural skies in a soft monochrome...
